We have many wonderful cats and kittens available for adoption. All of our cats and kittens are in foster care. When the kittens are ready for adoption, usually around 8 to 10 weeks old, they are wormed, flea treated, vet checked and vaccinated, micro-chipped and if over 1KG they are de-sexed. They can be be viewed at the individual carers home upon enquiry only!
They are placed on our adoption list and remain in the care of the foster parents until they are re-homed. After an enquiry to the individual foster carer of the kittie you might be interested in you will more than likely make a time with the carer to go and meet them! We try and match the kittens or cats to the right home so everyone is happy. Once the foster carer is happy for the adoption to go ahead we ask you to fill in some forms with some contact information and ask you to sign that you will provide a loving and forever home. All of our cats and kittens go to their new homes on a 30 day settling in period and if they do not settle into their new home they are are always welcomed back by Little Paws! As all of our cats and kittens are desexed, vaccinated, wormed & microchipped, the Adoption Fee helps to cover the costs of these treatments.
New parents are provided with information about caring for their new “Kitty Child” and notes, which may include the kitten’s or cat’s current diet, flea and worm treatment dates, and vaccination dates.
All kittens and cats in Little Paws care are vet checked for general health only but no blood related veterinary tests are done for Feline Aids or Leukaemia, this can be arranged by Little Paws for the new owners at a reduced fee.
