Squeak is an inside cat, but he is used to large dogs. Squeak likes to be close by, but doesn’t need to be cuddled….but there are times when he wants to be and thats where he gets his name from because Squeak will squeak at you for a cuddle !!!

Squeak has been with his friend Nudge since they were 8 weeks old, and although I would consider adopting them separately, it would be so nice if they could be adopted together!!! Both are good with children (2yrs +), and Squeak in particular is very patient. The purrfect pair for any family!!

Nudge is a Siamese Cross, and is an inside only cat….he is used to dogs and is a very curious and affectionate. Nudge gets his name from nudging you for attention….he likes to be noticed!!! Nudge and Squeak have been together since 8 weeks old and although I would consider splitting them it would be so nice if they could be adopted together.. Both are good with children (2yrs +), although Nudge can be shy if it gets too noisy. A purrfect pair!!!

This little boy’s name is Abe & he is a 15 month old DSH. He has a beautiful shiny black coat with a personality to match. He is just full of energy and loves playing with his foster mate Suzie who is similiar in age. He reminds me of a knight in shiny armour who is a hero and ready for action at any time. Abe also enjoys the company of my male chihuahua and they love to play together.

Meet Willy….he was born in January 2011 during the floods. He came to the shelter with a bad eye infection which he has fully recovered from. Willy is an active cat who loves playing games and exploring with curiosity always getting the better of him.  You can always find him as he chatters away during his exciting expeditions and has a loud rumbling purr. Although this kitty is always on the move he still loves attention and a good  cuddle.

Willy would be a great addition to a family as he will keep you entertained and loves attention. He is a little shy at first and can be a little rough when he wants more attention. Although he is learning to be  gentle, he may not be suitable for a family with younger children. Willy is great with other cats and dogs due to his placid nature.

Willy is fostered with his sister April who are like chalk and cheese but are very close. They will regularly call out to each other checking each other is safe and love chasing around the house together. It would be nice if they could be re-homed together although this is most often not possible.

Willy is de-sexed, micro chipped, vaccinated and up to date with his flea and worm treatment.

Charlie is a very handsome young cat, very affectionate, quite willing to sit on your lap when everything’s settled, and sleep while you watch TV.  Charlie is also quite happy to sleep in your bed with you, and likes to be an outside-during-the-day cat, but he has been brought in at night time for the sake of his own safety and that of the local wildlife.

Charlie is housetrained, and he likes to talk to you whenever possible.  He’s very vocal about when it’s dinnertime, if he wants to come in, if he wants to go out, and where are you and what are you doing?  He’s also quite vocal about letting you know that he’s caught a lizard, and inviting you to come and view his catch.

Charlie is used to (big) friendly dogs and other cats, and would happiest in a home with some company.  He gets on famously with his foster-sister, Suzi, and they’d love to find a home together, so Suzi had someone familiar with her.  Charlie is quite a confident young adolescent cat, once he’s used to a new situation.

Charlie has had his operation, been vaccinated, flea and worm treated and he has lovely manners! He would love to come and share your life. Please call his foster carer and arrange to meet him.

Poor old Hugo was found as a stray by some teenagers who took him home to live with them and while well meaning enough, who knows what sort of life he had with them!

Since coming into foster care, he has shown himself to be a timid boy who will need a quiet home with a special, patient owner, who understands it might take him some time to feel comfortable with them.

He does enjoy one to one cuddles and will rub up against you, but he does get scared very easily. He is fine with other cats, but probably best with older children only. Hugo is de-sexed, micro chipped, F3 vaccinated, flea and worm treated.

Stormy – 9 year old tabby male.

Stormy is a grey desexed male, approx. 9 yrs old.  He’s slightly cross eyed but this in no way affects him.  He was found at a local pub where he had been living off scraps from the kitchen.  When Stormy began making his way into the bar area to socialize with the customers, the management decided that he had to go.  Stormy is a real gentleman and very calm.  He’s been trained to walk on a harness and would make a wonderful addition to any family.   He was microchipped and we tracked his humans down but the owners surrendered him to Little Paws.  Stormy also had a nasty collar wound under his arm however after several vet visits and lots of love and nursing, he is all healed.

Max – 6 years young

Max’s human surrendered him to Little Paws as she was going into hospital for a brain tumour.  Max is approx. 6 years old, very calm and cool, not aggressive towards other cats and he LOVES dogs.  He’d suit any home really – he loves company but isn’t a huge fan of being picked up.  He prefers to sit near you on the lounge while you watch TV instead of on your lap.  Max’s ideal home would be one with a cat flap so he can be inside when he wants but go out into an enclosure or cat proof yard to lay in the sun.
