Smudge

Hi there, I’m Smudge! My mum and siblings were brought to Little Paws when we were just a few weeks old. Our foster mum was absolutely amazed - we’re an entire litter of tiny moo cows, just like our mum!
 
I’m super playful, and my foster mum is always laughing at how dedicated I am to playing with toys. I can hear my favourite toy from the other end of the house, and I will gallop down the hallway at full pace to make sure that I do not miss out on a single second of playtime. 
 
I wanted to share that I'm currently in school training to become a master baker, and I'm excelling in the art of kneading. I'm really enjoying the process - I'm quite the "little baker!" One of my favourite activities is kneading on the soft, fluffy cat bed my foster carer has set up for me. It's the perfect spot, and I love stretching out as much as possible, with my paws working furiously to knead the bed, which is both cute and amusing.
 
I’m also known as the "King of the Poof." Whenever I'm startled by one of the other cats or a loud noise, I puff myself up into a big ball and leap sideways across the room! I don’t do it all the time, but it always manages to make my foster carer laugh.
 
My foster carer can’t help but laugh at the peculiar places I choose to sleep. I have a knack for wedging myself into the tightest spots - between cabinets, snugly tucked between the bathroom sink and the wall, or anywhere the cool tiles can soothe my belly. Whenever my foster carer is looking for me, it turns into a little game of hide-and-seek. She has to check every nook and cranny before she finally finds my secret hideaway. And when she does, I happily soak up all the pats and affection she’s willing to give. It’s our little routine, and I wouldn’t have it any other way!

All Little Paws Kitten Rescue cats and kittens come to you vet checked, desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed, flea treated, and litter trained. As we are a rescue group, the adoption fee is not negotiable. Little Paws Kitten Rescue cats and kittens are indoor or cat enclosure only and must go to homes that intend them to stay that way. This is for their safety, the health of the cat or kitten and for the environment. It is our foster carer’s choice as to which home a cat or kitten goes to. We match the cats and kittens to the adoptee; we do not necessarily “sell” to the first caller. As our foster carers are all volunteers raising the cats and kittens in their own home, we would appreciate you letting them know if you cannot make an appointment.
